Highly-qualified bachelor training, with special background in the field of cybernetic system development technologies, with the main intension of supplying staff to organizations in high-tech science and industry.
The professional line includes design and implementation, as well as maintenance, of information systems and software products in the field of applied mathematics and computer science for state, industrial and commercial organizations; computing centers and data centers; scientific-industrial corporations; high-school education centers.
Along with all disciplines required by the federal standards, students are additionally trained in various fields of discrete mathematics, database systems and technologies, AI systems and technologies, various cybernetic systems development technologies, models of physical processes in nuclear systems. Student participation in research activities, with qualifying works being made and presented, is mandatory.
Graduates earn the following abilities:
- introducing new information technologies to the organization infrastructure;
- developing software tools for systems for ERP software quality management systems;
- business consulting and engineering
The curriculum consists of four modules distributed in eight semesters such as: humanitarian, natural-science, general professional and professional. Humanitarian module consists of basic humanitarian courses such as history, philosophy, social science and etc. Natural science module refers to studding the classical courses of mathematical analysis and theoretical physics. The main purpose of the general science module is to form the computer skills in the field of control and data processing. As a result of passing the professional module students gain skills and abilities: to work in team and use legal documents; to use professional skills in information and computer technologies in scientific and cognitive activities, social domain; skills in working with information from different sources, including resources from the Internet; attainments in gaining new scientific and professional knowledge using modern learning and information technologies; being part of a research and production team, to solve professional problems, critically rethink the collected experience; ability to change at need the type and nature of professional activity; collect, process and interpret data from modern scientific research and use it to produce conclusion on various problems in professional, scientific, social, ethic domains; skills in using in their professional activities modern programming and database languages, operational systems, electronic libraries, application software, network technologies; to plan their work and to control the plan’s carrying-out, to plan resources required for the work, to estimate the expected results; basic knowledge of protection methods of industrial workers and public from the possible consequences of accidents, natural disasters and the use of modern means of destruction, and the main measures to eliminate these consequences, to produce an overall assessment of life-threat conditions; skills in using modern methods and technologies of teaching; skills in interaction with users and customers; modern methods in software design and mathematical modeling for cybernetic systems engineering.
