The Department of Cryptology and Cyber Security of MEPhI specializes in training: 

• Bachelors in the direction “Information Security” (10.03.01)
• Masters in the direction “Information Security” (10.04.01), including online Master's degree programs implemented in cooperation with SkillFactory service.

Students study modern encryption technologies and methods of countering computer attacks. Training programs are regularly updated in accordance with the current requirements of information protection. Graduates of the department are highly demanded in the field of information security of both government and commercial organizations.
